Journey Through Mark

Journey through Mark is a six-month Bible reading plan designed to ground us in the story of Jesus.

Over the course of the next six months, we will read through the book of Mark a total of four times. Once in-person (on Tuesday, May 30, 2023) and three times on our own. Each reading will approach the text from a different angle.

• During the in-person reading, we will read the entire book in one sitting to get a feel for the whole story.

• The second reading will be a thorough read using only your Bible, journal, and a pen. Use this time to highlight the text, write questions, and reflect on what you’re reading.

• The third reading will be a study, utilizing a commentary (provided by Canopy) to help you better understand the text.

• During the final reading, we will mediate on the story using the ancient practice of lectio divina.
